We love the outdoors and want to pass on our passion for nature and mountain sports to our children. So even the youngest of us have a high priority at KOHLA when it comes to developing child-friendly backpacks and carriers.

The child carrier or Kraxe
A child carrier is an oversized backpack with a frame in which children can be carried on the back during their first years. With the help of harness systems, children sit comfortably and safely in the Kraxe from the age of about 6 months. It is important that the little ones should sit independently and freely before a child carrier is used. Especially the carrying comfort is provided for parents by the ergonomically shaped back area and the soft padded straps. Adequate storage space for water bottles, etc. is given on the back.
Kids carriers types
As with backpacks, there are different types of child carriers that have been developed for different areas of use. If you are often or longer, for example, on multi-day or hut tours, then it is recommended the model Happy Emotion. This child carrier offers greater comfort and more storage space. For example, our Happy 10L, our toddler model from about three years old, comes with our mascot "Rocky" as a faithful companion, as well as a removable seat pad. Available in three color variations.
